A szőlőhegyen zárónap, ettől kezdve tilos szekérrel, abroncsos edénnyel a szőlőben járni. Megkezdődik a szőlőőrzés. Egyed-nap időjárásából az egész őszre következtetnek. Ha esik, gyenge lesz a tél, bő lesz a kukoricatermés.
