The perfect DIY outdoor decor for summer! All you need is jute string and mason jars!
Knotted Mason Jar Lantern
1) Draw a template of desired shape onto paper and attach to the mason jar with double-sided tape. 2) Apply paint to exposed areas. Allow to dry. 3) Once the first coat of paint has dried, carefully remove tape and apply next color of paint. Repeat until all colors are applied. 4) Once the jar has dried, use sandpaper to lightly distress. Use a gold-leafing marker to outline shapes and stripes. 5) Wrap the bottom of the jars with large jute and hot glue on the back.
